Ensimmäistä kertaa Raspberry Pi -tietokone, joka käyttää Raspberryn itse rakentamaa RP1-piiriä. RP1 "southbridge" tarjoaa suurimman osan I/O-ominaisuuksista ja tarjoaa harppauksen oheislaitteiden suorituskykyyn ja toimivuuteen.
